SOLICITOR: after a general practice training in Leeds then York, worked for over 12 years for legal advice charities as a housing solicitor (landlord and tenant, mortgage re-possession and homelessness) advising clients and conducting litigaton cases in the County Court and the High Court. Then worked as a wills and probate solicitor for a private general practice firm in Hull handling a variety of wills and probate cases as well as court of protection work.
1 year (2013) as Housing Options Worker, York City Council; helping customers avoid homelessness where possible and assisting and advising customers who were homeless.
